Agentic Accounting Lab
Most accounting teams have experimented with ChatGPT, Claude, or an AI copilot. Most never moved beyond a proof of concept.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn what actually changes when AI is trusted with accounting work that has to run accurately, auditably and under governance every month.
No AI expertise needed
No implementation required

Beyond the demo
In Agentic Accounting Labs, you’ll configure, test, and refine accounting agents yourself inside a guided Maxima sandbox.
Using realistic accounting scenarios, you’ll see where agents excel, where human judgment matters, and what enterprise-ready AI actually looks like in production.
What you will learn
Automate your first agentic workflow in production environment
Configuring agents against realistic financial data for real use cases
Prompting techniques that work for structured accounting workflows
How AI agents handle missing information, follow up for clarification, and operate within accounting policies, controls and governance
How modern accounting teams are adopting agentic AI without changing ERPs, writing prompts, or becoming AI experts
What production AI looks like at companies like Rippling, Scale AI, Glean, and Zendesk
Your Lab partner
You’ll build with Max, our purpose-built accounting agent. Equipped with domain specific skills, Max already understands workpapers, subledgers, accruals, and close calendars, so the session starts at the accounting problem, not at a blank chat window.
That choice is deliberate. Generic AI tools make you do the accounting translation yourself. Working with an agent built for the domain shows you what the ceiling looks like, and gives you a fair baseline for evaluating anything else you test afterward.
Workshop format
This is a highly interactive, in-person session with only 10–15 attendees. Every participant receives access to a dedicated Maxima sandbox with preloaded accounting data.
Working alongside Maxima’s product team and finance domain experts, you’ll complete guided exercises, compare approaches with peers, and leave with workflows you can continue exploring after the session.
Seats are purposely limited to keep the session hands-on and guided.
