Maxima was founded by seasoned operators who lived through the month-end close grind. With a combined experience of 25+ years across top technology companies, investment banking and audit, they saw the same pattern: as companies scale, accounting turns into a brittle frankenstack—slow and painful closes, rising errors, burned-out teams.

They saw the potential of agentic AI to transform enterprise accounting and bring a revolution in an industry that hasn’t seen any innovation in the last two decades. In doing so, they envisioned an agentic platform that can comprehend large amounts of data while incorporating company specific logic to eliminate errors and audit risk, accelerate the month-end close, and  redeploy time back to strategic controllership.
