Maxima named to AI64's top enterprise AI companies
We are honored to share that Maxima has been recognized by Redpoint Ventures on its inaugural AI64, a list of the 64 most impactful emerging enterprise AI applications. Developed in partnership with OpenAI, NYSE, and Goldman Sachs, the AI64 list highlights global companies who are transforming how AI is applied inside companies, not just talked about in theory.
Maxima was recognized in the enterprise applications category, alongside companies like Glean, Replit, Cursor, Harvey, and Abridge, all showing how applied AI is already reshaping functions across industries, including accounting.
“Being included in the first AI64 is a great honor, especially alongside such a strong cohort of AI application companies,” said Yogi Goel, Founder and CEO of Maxima. “Accounting has always been the backbone of every enterprise, but it has not seen meaningful innovation in decades. We started Maxima with a simple belief: most of the painful, manual accounting work should be prepared by AI agents and reviewed by people. If we can give accountants back their time and their focus, we can change both the quality of the numbers and the quality of their work lives.”
Why this recognition matters
For years, accounting has been critical to how companies operate, yet often overlooked and underserved.
Month after month, teams still rely on manual reconciliations, spreadsheet-driven journal entries, and reactive flux analysis to close the books. The work is high volume, high variance, and evidence heavy. It lives across banks, ERPs, payroll, billing systems, and countless CSVs. Small slips can turn into restatements, missed filings, and real reputational damage.
Maxima’s inclusion in AI64 signals a broader shift: accounting operations are finally being recognized as a function that deserves AI-native automation, not just more spreadsheets and headcount.
To do that, we have built an agentic record to report platform that pairs:
The reasoning power of large language models, which can understand accounting standards and company specific policies, with
Specialized, policy bound AI agents that perform the actual accounting tasks across journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis, with full audit trails and step by step proof of work.
These agents are part of what helps Maxima save accountants thousands of hours of manual work and give accounting teams faster, more reliable numbers they can act on.
The numbers tell the story
Across our customers, we are already seeing the impact:
Up to 80 percent reduction in days to close
Up to 95 percent automation of repetitive, manual workflows across close operations
Millions of transactions processed with audit-grade accuracy
For our customers, this is not about abstract innovation. It is about:
Moving from reactive, month end fire drills to continuous preparation
Reducing the manual burden on teams so they can focus on exception handling and analysis
Strengthening trust with auditors and leadership through transparent, evidence backed workflows
All without ripping and replacing their ERPs.
Looking ahead
Since founding Maxima in 2024, we have gone from an idea to a platform helping power record-to-report operations at leading enterprises, such as Scale AI, Rippling, SpotOn, and this recognition joins a growing wave of momentum around applied AI in accounting.
For us, it is both a milestone and a mandate. We are proud of how far we have come, but we are even more focused on what comes next: helping more accounting teams move from manual, human prepared close to agent prepared, human reviewed accounting.
To everyone who has helped us reach this point – our customers, team, investors, and partners – thank you. We are just getting started.
